Three ways to browse

Switch between list, icon and tree views. Narrow your files with grouping, sorting and column filters.

Tags, collections and ratings

Organize with nested tags and star ratings. Resize and expand home collections without moving the original files.

Details at a glance

A small clue. The right file.

Find what matters and see what’s inside without switching windows.

Global and content search

Press ⌘ K to find filenames, indexed PDF content and image OCR text. Preview a result or jump straight to its folder.

On-device image analysis

Quick previews and Markdown

Press Space to preview images, PDFs, documents, media and archives. Edit Markdown and see the formatted result.

Batch rename workspace

From local operations to remote folders, stay in your flow.

Archives and format conversion

Browse and extract ZIP, TAR, 7Z and other supported archives. Create archives, convert supported documents to Word or PDF, and convert or resize images.

A queue for file tasks

Copy, move, transfer and extract in the background. Track progress, and pause, resume, cancel or retry supported tasks.

SFTP, SMB, WebDAV and network discovery

Manage SFTP files and upload edits automatically. Mount SMB and WebDAV through macOS, manage network locations together, and discover and connect to local network servers.

LocalSend and AirDrop

Send files and folders from the context menu. Check the device and file list before receiving, or share selected items with AirDrop.

Make it work your way.

Keep everyday actions close, and make repetitive work easier.

Menu bar delivery and file staging

Browse Downloads, Desktop, custom folders and collections from the menu bar. Drag files or folders into the staging area to preview them, drag copies into other apps or clear the list. Originals stay in place; staging clears when you quit.

Copilot file assistant

Use natural language to find files, organize selections, prepare renames or convert files. Review the plan before changes or content sharing.

Plugins and shell commands

The website edition supports a plugin market, local plugin packages and home scripts, with custom icons, shells and working directories.

Appearance and shortcuts

Choose light or dark, glass surfaces and layout density. Customize shortcuts, hold ⌘ for hints, and switch between four interface languages.
